With summer just starting, Rebeka wasn't sure if she could hold up the heat. It wasn't even eleven o'clock yet and she felt like she could pass out at any second. Being a daughter of Poseidon those aren't really the best physical emotions that you could ever feel. She needed to be cool like a fish needed water, well at least in a less extreme case.
So, naturally, Rebeka found the arena to be a place to escape to the brutal heat that was coating her like a second skin. She figure, What the heck? The arena was shaded and she could squeeze in a few extra hours of sword training.
It wasn't until she walked into the arena, with the sword that she rarely used did Rebeka realize that the beach could have also been an escape from the sun. She thought about it for a second and concluded that it was most likely that half the camp was down there right now.
The arena was a ghost town, which only shocked Rebeka the slightest. She didn't really expect anyone to be training right now. So that's why, when she had only been there for less then twenty minutes, it did surprise her when another girl walked in with the same intention to train right now.

Emmy's dark wrath could be felt all over the camp, even if they couldn't see her. The daughter of Hades had recently been pranked on by one of the Hermes kids, therefore getting her completely soaking wet. The way she stomped with her every move and her hunched back, and her long wavy midnight black hair tied up in a high ponytail, something she only did when she was training, which was something she only did when she was pissed or bored. A random, most likely unclaimed demigod scuttled in front of her and Emmy had the urge to squash them like a bug. It was these times when she was provoked, that the daughter of Hades acted more like the daughter of the god of war.
With a quick twirl of her feet, the scythe weilding girl entered the Arena, one of the only places she felt comfortable. Another girl was already there, despite the early afternoon and the fact that it was now relaxing time, or whatever those two freaks for camp counselers called it. "Move it, will you?" Emmy said, annoyance rippling off of her.I'm trying to train, so if you wouldn't mind getting out of my way. There will be a lot of dummy stuffing flying around. She said, though she didn't mean to sound so evil.

Rebeka tried to ignore her, when the girl first walked in. However she found it impossible when the girl started talking, which gave Rebeka the impression that she was kinda snobby. "Move it, will you?" The girl's voice was pretty much dripping of annoyance. A witty comment was on the edge of her tongue, but Rebeka swallowed her words; this girl had the looks that she could get real deadly, real fast.
"I'm trying to train, so if you wouldn't mind getting out of my way. There will be a lot of dummy stuffing flying around." Okay so how did this girl think she was? With her sword still in hand, Rebeka crossed her arms across her chest. "Well good for you." Just wow, she could've cursed at herself. That was the best she could've thought at the top of her head? "I'm sure I left you some." She groaned silently at her words, what was she becoming? Letting this girl basically seam roll over her. Rebeka pursed her lips and tried to keep her cool; water tended to erupt from random places whenever so got pissed off. And she figured that drenching this girl from head-to-toe wouldn't help in her case of trying to escape from this arena in one place.

Emmy wanted to laugh in the girl's face at her comebacks. Really, it was rather sad. A smile lit up her freckled face and the daughter of Hades turned towards her, shaking her head, trying to get herself out of her bad mood. Her black hair twirled around a bit as she turned, her cyan eyes sparkling with mischief. Not like when you would look into a child of Hermes' eyes, but Emmy's own little version She flicked her tongue out to wet her lips, an odd habit of hers as she looked the brunette up and down. A flicker of recognition flitted over her face, as she realized that the girl was Rebeka Medina. Being another daughter of one of the Big Three gods, Emmy understood how it felt to be one of the either most hated kids at camp, or most envied.
Rebeka Medina? She said with a smirk glistening on her lips. She stalked forward, her black combat boots stepping in the dark musty dirt. Daughter of Poseidon, Rebeka Medina? She bit her lower lip in an effort to hold in a laugh. Emmy had seen her around Camp before, and she seemed like a decent enough type of girl. I'm Emmy Rockefellar. Daughter of Hades. She said, stepping forward again, so they within a foot of each other.

When the girl smiled, it lite up her face, making it a huge contrast from her previous expression before. However, Rebeka tensed up, that girl's smile was anything but innocent. The daughter of Poseidon's eyes dropped down to the damp arena floor. Wait damp? Crap. Rebeka's head whipped up, realizing that she must have called up some water from the springs under the camp. She cursed herself for not getting herself under control, now her energy was dropping, which wouldn't be good if this girl turns out to be trouble. "Rebeka Medina?" Rebeka's jerked up at the mention of her name. The girl may have made it a question, but it came across a statement to her, like she already knew who she was. "Daughter of Poseidon, Rebeka Medina?" Okay now this girl was really freaking Rebeka out. If the scary-sweet smile, and the slow stalking forward towards her, like she was hunting her prey wasn't even then having the girl in question basically know everything about you made it a freaking nightmare.
"Yes." Rebeka answered, unsure what to response. "That's me." She eyed the girl warily. "I'm Emmy Rockefellar. Daughter of Hades." Rebeka raised her eyebrows at the newly revealed Emmy. She had looked familiar, though Rebeka didn't think about it much. She had seen the other girl around camp a few times. The girl most likely went through the same things that Rebeka goes through, the discrimination of being a Big Three Child, the unspoken pressure to measure up to godly standards. All of the Big Three children went through it, though being the only Poseidon child was pretty rough also. Rebeka stepped back self consciously, realizing that the girl, that Emmy was getting a little too much into her comfort zone. "What's it too you?" She demanded to her. "Me being a Big Three child? What does it matter to you? You are one also." Her tone was razor sharp as she fired the questions that the girl. Her fingers inched towards her sword, which she had stashed away in her bow.
